Duck Lake

The Town of Duck Lake Lion’s Community Park has undergone a significant revitalization, bringing to life the Town Council’s vision for an enhanced playground. We are honored to have played a role in making these dreams a reality!

In designing the playground, our goal was to ensure ample play opportunities for children of all ages. The Town Council aimed to include components that would attract and excite older children.

Lion’s Community Park offers a variety of play experiences:

Active & Physical Play

The playground is thoughtfully designed to limit the number of structures in any one area, allowing children to move freely between open-concept spaces and various movement opportunities on the playground equipment.

Social Play

Our design includes gathering spaces for small and large groups, promoting collaboration, group play, and independence.

Imaginative Play

The playground provides children with opportunities to climb, jump, swirl, hide, slide, and interact with the environment. Features such as interactive panels offer unlimited scenarios for children to invent, collaborate, and act within.

Accessible Play

The Town Council prioritized inclusivity, ensuring that every resident can enjoy the new playground. Rubber pour-in-place surfacing at the park entrance allows users with mobility issues, sensory processing disorders, and depth perception challenges to navigate the play components safely and independently. Features such as interactive and inclusive play panels, an accessible Biggo Spia multi-user swing, and a fully accessible carriage swing ensure that everyone can enjoy the park.

From concept to reality – Thank you for choosing Northland!
